One post, two subheadings

1. I’m staying put

After Melissa’s extremely helpful, but oh-so-simple advice, I won’t be switching allegiances and transferring my drivel to Wordpress.

Thankfuckforthat!

Wordpress was just far too much for my tiny brain to deal with, especially as I have something else on my mind.

Before I get to what’s occupying my braincell, remember what happened the first time I met Crazy Garden Lady when I went to Australia? If not, you can remind yourself here. Well, now let me point you in this direction so you can have a read about the second time I met up with her, a few days later. Then you can (hopefully) come back to read what’s taking up most of my brain power at the moment.

2. I really hope I won’t be staying put for much longer

Remember a while ago I told who I work for? If you either a)don’t remember or, b)couldn’t be arsed to read it missed it, you can refresh your memory here.

Are you back yet?

Don’t worry, I haven’t committed an illegal act and am therefore currently trying to think of ways out of it - *muttering darkly* although it’s come very close on many an occasion. Very close. I’ve even had moments where I’ve wondered what the words ‘Death by pigeon’ would look like on a certificate.

Kidding.

I think.

Anyway, amongst the comments of that post, I said I was waiting for vacancies to come up with a particular company. Lo and behold, a short while later the posts were advertised.

Hurrah!

Now don’t go getting all excited that I’m about to tell you I’ve got the job (which I’m not going to tell you what it is – yet). All I know at the moment – unofficially - is that I will be interviewed; I just have to be patient (not a strong point at the moment *sigh*) and wait for the company to contact me, which I’ve been told will be soon.

The reason for my brain hurting is that knowing I’m to be interviewed and knowing I’m a very strong contender for the job, I’ve been reading and learning… stuff.

Secret squirrel stuff.

Stuff to do with the job I want.

It’s something that I shouldn’t actually in possession of, but I am, so… mwahahaaa I’m reading it!

Meanwhile, after Monday, it’ll just be me in the office for three weeks.

On my own.

Listening to pigeons.

Hmm, *drumming fingers on desk with one hand, while stroking chin thoughtfully with the other* I wonder what I can train them to do in three weeks?
